The Call Of The Winds Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABBCCDD EFEFGHGGII GJGJK KBBKK GGGGGGLLMM

Ho come out with the wind of springA
And step it blithely in woodlands wakingA
Friend am I of each growing thingA
From the gray sod into sunshine breakingA
Mine is the magic of twilights dimB
Of violets blue on the still pool's rimB
Mine is the breath of the blossoms youngC
Sweetest of fragrances storied or sungC
Come ye earth children weary and wornD
I will lead you over the hills of mornD
-
Ho come out with the summer windE
And loiter in meadows of ripening cloverF
Where the purple noons are long and kindE
And the great white clouds drift fleecily overF
Mine is immortal minstrelsyG
The fellowship of the rose and beeH
Beguiling laughter of willowed rillsG
The rejoicing of pines on inland hillsG
Come ye earth children by dale and streamI
I will lead you into the ways of dreamI
-
Ho when the wind of autumn ringsG
Through jubilant mornings crisp and goldenJ
Come where the yellow woodland flingsG
Its hoarded wealth over by ways oldenJ
Mine are the grasses frosted and sereK
-
That lisp and rustle around the mereK
Mine are the flying racks that dimB
The lingering sunset's reddening rimB
Earth children come in the waning yearK
I will harp you to laughter and buoyant cheerK
-
Ho when the wind of winter blowsG
Over the uplands and moonlit spacesG
Come ye out to the waste of snowsG
To the glimmering fields and the silent placesG
I whistle gaily on starry nightsG
Through the arch of the elfin northern lightsG
But in long white valleys I pause to harkL
Where the ring of the home lights gems the darkL
Come ye earth children whose hearts are sadM
I will make you valiant and strong and gladM
