The Bridal Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

Last night a pale young Moon was wedA
Unto the amorous eager SeaB
Her maiden veil of mist she woreC
His kingly purple vesture heB
-
With her a bridal train of starsD
Walked sisterly through shadows dimE
And master minstrel of the worldF
The great Wind sang the marriage hymnE
-
Thus came she down the silent skyG
Unto the Sea her faith to plightH
And the grave priest who wedded themI
Was ancient sombre mantled NightH
