Song Of The Sea-wind Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDECE FGHGIDJD KLMLBKNK

When the sun sets over the long blue waveA
I spring from my couch of restB
And I hurtle and boom over leagues of foamC
That toss in the weltering westB
I pipe a hymn to the headlands highD
My comrades forevermoreE
And I chase the tricksy curls of foamC
O'er the glimmering sandy shoreE
-
The moon is my friend on clear white nightsF
When I ripple her silver wayG
And whistle blithely about the rocksH
Like an elfin thing at playG
But anon I ravin with cloud and mistI
And wail 'neath a curdled skyD
When the reef snarls yon like a questing beastJ
And the frightened ships go byD
-
I scatter the dawn across the seaK
Like wine of amber flungL
From a crystal goblet all far and fineM
Where the morning star is hungL
I blow from east and I blow from westB
Wherever my longing beK
The wind of the land is a hindered thingN
But the ocean wind is freeK
