Companioned Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKJK ALML

I walked to day but not aloneA
Adown a windy sea girt leaB
For memory spendthrift of her charmC
Peopled the silent lands for meB
-
The faces of old comradeshipD
In golden youth were round my wayE
And in the keening wind I heardF
The songs of many an orient dayE
-
And to me called from out the pinesG
And woven grasses voices dearH
As if from elfin lips should fallI
The mimicked tones of yesteryearH
-
Old laughter echoed o'er the leasJ
And love lipped dreams the past had keptK
From wayside blooms like honeyed beesJ
To company my wanderings creptK
-
And so I walked but not aloneA
Right glad companionship had IL
On that gray meadow waste betweenM
Dim litten sea and winnowed skyL
