A Shore Twilight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CC DE FF EE GH II BB DD

Lo find we here when the ripe day is o'erA
A kingdom of enchantment by the shoreB
-
Behold the sky with early stars ashineC
A jewelled flagon brimmed with purple wineC
-
Like a dumb poet's soul the troubled seaD
Moans of its joy and sorrow wordlesslyE
-
But the glad winds that utter naught of griefF
Make silver speech by headland and by reefF
-
Saving for such there is no voice or callE
To mar the gracious silence over allE
-
Silence so tender 'tis a sweet caressG
A most beguiling and dear lonelinessH
-
Lo here we find a beckoning solitudeI
A winsome presence to be mutely wooedI
-
Which being won will teach us fabled loreB
The old old gramarye of the sibyl shoreB
-
Oh what a poignant rapture thus to beD
Lingering at twilight by the ancient seaD
