While Yet These Tears Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGHIHF

While yet these tears have power to flowA
For hours for ever past awayB
While yet these swelling sighs allowC
My faltering voice to breathe a layB
While yet my hand can touch the chordsD
My tender lute to wake thy toneE
While yet my mind no thought affordsD
But one remembered dream aloneE
I ask not death whate'er my stateF
But when my eyes can weep no moreG
My voice is lost my hand untrueH
And when my spirit's fire is o'erI
Nor can express the love it knewH
Come Death and cast thy shadows o'er my fateF
