Sonnet Vii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDEF GHH GII

All love is seen to fade and pass awayA
When soul blends body by most subtle artB
I am the body you the better partB
But O my well loved soul why did you strayA
-
Why can't I always swoon with pleasure inC
Your arms My love my better part my soulD
O rescue me from drowning even thoughE
I know so well how badly I have sinnedF
-
Dear friend I sense there's something in the airG
Of hunger lost And if at last we meetH
Again please don't be cold remote discreetH
-
I am afraid our long concealed affairG
Is willed to play out with a formal graceI
Both kind and cruel never commonplaceI
