Sonnet I Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EAA EFF

What if the hero of the OdysseyA
Had been like you a man that's fair of faceB
Would he have had that easy mannered graceB
Yet be the cause of so much agonyA
-
At any rate your roving ways are sureC
To make me count the weeks we've been apartD
And open gaping wounds within my heartD
This ailing heart which you alone can cureC
-
O ill starred fate A scorpion stingE
Eats at my heart I need a remedyA
From the malicious beast that poisoned meA
-
I beg you dear just stop my sufferingE
Come back to your true love and let me lieF
Clasped in your arms again or let me dieF
