Spirit's Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCAA DDEE FFEE BGHH IDJJKL

'Tis thy Spirit calls thee come awayA
I have sought thee through the weary dayA
I have dived in the glassy stream for theeB
I have gone wherever a spirit might beB
-
In the earth where di'monds hideC
In the deep where pearls abideC
In the air where rainbows glancing gayA
Smile the tears of the sun awayA
-
I have wandered 'mid the starry zoneD
Through a world by spirits only knownD
Where 'tis bliss to sail in that balmy airE
But to me 'twas joyless till thou wert thereE
-
I traced the footsteps of the fawnF
As it bounded over the dewy lawnF
For the print it left was so light and fairE
I deem'd thy step had linger'd thereE
-
I heard a sound of melodyB
Sad and sweet as thy tender sighG
'Twas the night bird's tone but it smote my earH
For I thought thy own soft voice to hearH
-
I see a form it is gliding onI
Like a cloud that sails in the sky aloneD
And the stars gleam through its veil of whiteJ
Oh can it be aught of earth so brightJ
It beckons me on to my airy homeK
My own lov'd spirit I come I comeL
