Song.-oh, Long Enough My Life Has Been Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FGFG

Oh long enough my life has beenA
Since I thy love have knownB
I would not change the pleasing sceneC
And find its beauties flownB
-
Then let me die while yet no careD
Has reached my trusting breastE
While sorrow is a stranger thereD
And all is joy and restE
-
Let me not feel what varied painF
Life's theatre can showG
That all our present hours are vainF
And all our future woeG
