Song For A German Air Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCA ADAEFFA

Fair stream of the mountain brightly flowingA
Between thy fresh margins gay with flowersB
Life's uncertain visions showingA
Thus like thy waters glide past the hoursB
Oft on thy sunny banks I lieC
And mark the waves that glitter byC
With fleeting joy and brightness glowingA
-
Fair stream when no more near thee recliningA
I gaze and lament for moments goneD
Cold and silent past repiningA
Still thy clear way thou wilt murmur onE
Still will thy roses bloom anewF
Though I no more their beauty viewF
And yonder sun as bright be shiningA
