No sound but the waters that murmuring move | G |
No light but the shadowless orb above | H |
But see the shadows are gathering fast | I |
The clear bright orb is gone | J |
Alas no beauty can ever last | I |
That e'er I gaze upon | K |

The waters that sparkled so bright before | L |
Now moan alone the gloomy shore | L |
And all is dark as the fate will be | B |
That spreads its cheerless path for me | B |
