Lines.-if We Should Ever Meet Again Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B C B D E F G H G I I J K

If we should ever meet againA
-
When many tedious years are pastB
-
When time shall have unbound the chainC
-
And this sad heart is free at lastB
-
Then shall we meet and look unmov'dD
-
As though we ne'er had met had lov'dE
-
And I shall mark without a tearF
-
How cold and calm thy alter'd browG
-
I shall forget thou once wert dearH
-
Rememb'ring but thy broken vowG
-
Rememb'ring that in trusting youthI
-
I lov'd thee with the purest truthI
-
That now the fleeting dream is o'erJ
-
And thou canst raise the spell no moreK
