Lingering in my mind,
Are words that are jumbled
In the sands of time,
As they unravel with each passing mistake,
Like a gift being unwrapped by a child
On her birthday,
They tell me to be brave,
And how sometimes it's okay to be selfish for your own sake,
They tell me to be a wiser person,
And that sad moments are sometimes worth to be reminisced,
I wonder if I'll ever share them with anyone,
Teach someone the lesson I've learned,
But I realized that I don't have to,
Because everyone has these unspoken jumbled words....
