When you worked and worked and there's no reward
All you friends have left because they just got bored
And its hard to concentrate when life doesn't seem that great and
you gotta study cause your not rich enough to make decisions based on fate
The background noises seem to be to loud
When your standing in an empty room with an empty crowd
And you reach burnout;
When you just can't go to sleep but there doesn't seem anything worth staying awake for
When your mind is more heavy than the weight you think you have, because you worked so hard but still so poor
Oh burnout , its an old and welcome friend
Because its easier to quit than fight and reach the end
When you reach burnout
Burnout
