Rhyme Scheme: ABAAB CBCCB DBDDB

Bathsheba came out to the sunA
Out to our wall euml d cherry treesB
The tears adown her cheek did runA
Bathsheba standing in the sunA
Telling the beesB
-
My mother had that moment diedC
Unknowing sped I to the treesB
And plucked Bathsheba's hand asideC
Then caught the name that there she criedC
Telling the beesB
-
Her look I never can forgetD
I that held sobbing to her kneesB
The cherry boughs above us metD
I think I see Bathsheba yetD
Telling the beesB
