Tears Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCD CECCEC

When I consider Life and its few yearsA
A wisp of fog betwixt us and the sunB
A call to battle and the battle doneB
Ere the last echo dies within our earsA
A rose choked in the grass an hour of fearsA
The gusts that past a darkening shore do beatC
The burst of music down an unlistening streetC
I wonder at the idleness of tearsD
-
Ye old old dead and ye of yesternightC
Chieftains and bards and keepers of the sheepE
By every cup of sorrow that you hadC
Loose me from tears and make me see arightC
How each hath back what once he stayed to weepE
Homer his sight David his little ladC
