kingdoms of black and whiteB
you shoulder the crow on your leftC
the snowbird on your rightB
for you the cinders partD
and let the lentils throughE
and noise falls into placeF
as screech or sweet roo cooE
while in my own real worldG
gray foxes and gray wolvesH
bargain eye to eyeI
and the amazing doveJ
takes shelter under the wingK
of the raven to keep dryI

one day the ancient towerM
where disenchantment bindsN
the curls of innocenceO
that you must live with powerM
and honor circumstanceP
that choice is what comes trueE
oh Jenny pure in heartD
why do I lie to youE

Why do I read you talesQ
in which birds speak the truthR
and pity cures the blindS
and beauty reaches deepT
to prove a royal mindS
Death is a small mistakeU
there where the kiss revivesV
Jenny we make just dreamsW
out of our unjust livesX

your keen attentive stareZ
endow the vacuous slutA2
with royalty when you matchB2
her soul to her shimmering hairZ
what can she do but riseY
