Building Nations Badly Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DDE F DDGG DDHHIJ KL

It's a moment of changeA
But it turns to a moment of revengeB
So people be praising their leadersC
Yet undermining intelligence and the readersC
-
They will give you free street moneyD
But never fend for your family or whoever you call honeyD
They will give you hopeless hopes and totsE
-
Only for what they term damned votesF
-
They will fight with their rivals orallyD
Yet you fight your neighbor PhysicallyD
True leaders get truly abandonedG
False leaders are forever pardonedG
-
Truth always stands out clearlyD
But we suppress it daily courageouslyD
It hurts me for when i call you foolsH
But i must for what I see in schoolsH
It is for us voters to be alertI
For we know our pains deep down our heartsJ
-
Peace be with you allK
And may all be with peaceL
