Alone Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA BCBC AAAA

Alone in my chamber forsaken unsoughtA
My spirit's enveloped in shadows of nightA
Is there no one to give me a smile or a thoughtA
Is there none to restore to me faded delightA
-
The zephyrs disport with a light bosomed songB
And the joy laden songsters flit over the leaC
Yet the hours of the spring as they hurry alongB
Bring nothing but sadness and sighing to meC
-
There were friends but their love is departed and deadA
And alone must the tear drop disconsolate startA
All the beauty of Life all its sweetness is fledA
Oh who shall unburden this weight at my heartA
