Margaret's Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBB CDEF GHBH

Too soothe and mild your lowland airsA
for one whose hope is goneB
I'm think of the little tarnB
Brown very loneB
-
Would now the tall swift mists could layC
their wet grasp on my hairD
and the great natures of the hillsE
round me friendly wereF
-
In vain for taking hills your plainsG
have spoilt my soul I thinkH
But would my feet were going downB
Towards the brown tarn's brinkH
