An Answer To A Lady, Who Advised Lady Montagu To Retire Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDEFFGG

You little know the heart that you adviseA
I view this various scene with equal eyesA
In crowded courts I find myself aloneB
And pay my worship to a nobler throneB
Long since the value of this world I knowC
Pitied the folly and despis'd the showC
Well as I can my tedious part I bearD
And wait dismissal without pain or fearE
Seldom I mark mankind's detested waysF
Not hearing censure or affecting praiseF
And unconcern'd my future fate I trustG
To that sole Being merciful and justG
