In a parallel dimensionA
Where everything is perfectB
No hate no war no injusticeC
Prevail only peace and happinessD
A mother is in mourningE
Her schizophrenic daughterF
Slipped and fell and broke her legG
No nothing fatal But alasH
That would have been betterF
Who would hire her nowI
Who would marry a crippleJ
For bones may heal and scars may fadeK
But memories don t and the fact remainsL
That she slipped and fell and broke her legG
Oh what a shame it wasM
To be the mother of a lassH
Who slipped and fell and broke her legG
Oh What a shame it wasM
-
In their neighbour s house the father weepsN
Filled with sorrow and griefO
His bipolar son accidentally hadP
Burnt his hand while cooking for a friendQ
No nothing fatal But alasH
That would have been betterF
His life was ruined he couldn t face societyR
How could heR
For when wounds heal and scars fadeK
memories don t and the fact remainsL
that he accidentally had burnt his handS
Oh what a shame it wasM
To be the father of a ladP
Who accidentally had burnt his handS
Oh What a shame it wasM
-
In a less confusing dimensionA
Where everything made senseT
where revolution was a daily phenomenonU
and people were tolerantV
A mother is in mourningE
Her schizophrenic daughterF
Slipped and fell and broke her legG
No nothing fatal But alasH
That would have been betterF
Who would hire her nowI
Who would marry a crippleJ
For bones may heal and scars may fadeK
But fragile the mind and brain remainW
The fact is she is mentally crippledX
Oh what a shame it wasM
To be the mother of a lassH
Whose mind bore the bruntV
Of a chemical imbalance in her brainW
Oh What a shame it wasM
-
In their neighbour s house the father weepsN
Filled with sorrow and griefO
His bipolar son accidentally hadP
Burnt his hand while cooking for a friendQ
No nothing fatal But alasH
That would have been betterF
His life was ruined he couldn t face societyR
How could heR
For when wounds heal and scars fadeK
Fragile the mind and brain remainW
The fact is he is mentally crippledX
Oh what a shame it wasM
To be the father of a ladP
Whose mind bore the bruntV
Of a chemical imbalance in his brainW
Oh What a shame it wasM
-
The less confusing dimensionA
I m sure it sounds familiarF
But the parallel dimensionA
To me it sounds confusingE
To you too if it sounds ridiculousD
Then tell me whyY
Why show off your battle scarsZ
But hide the pain trauma and distressA2
Why care for just your bodyR
While neglecting your brain and mindB2
And in doing so pride why do you findB2
-
Superficial wounds with ease they healC2
The deepest cuts they need more care and timeD2
Without attention they worsenA
Over time turning into poisonA
That eats you from withinE2
-
None of it is your faultF2
It s nothing to be ashamed ofG2
unlike what they ve told youH2
It s nothing that can t healC2
It s not irreparable damageI2
It s a mere wound on your brain and mindB2
-
Now would you be so kindB2
To let heal the battle woundsJ2
You had kept so well hiddenA
No not just the ones on your skinE2
Also the ones on your brain and mindB2
