Life’s Tone... Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABB CDE FGH IJK L

Your life is a soulA
Betwix two windowsB
The suns and the shadowsB
-
But at the elapse of it allC
You are to pip in bothD
Though much deception by the sunsE
-
Oft a times you mopF
The soon rotting floorG
And you paint like peacocksH
-
You build concrete wallsI
Expensive wooden over coatsJ
And diamond like rooftopsK
-
What for when the flesh whole cries stillL

Poet's note: The poem is satirizing the extravagance of humans while on earth, like doing makeup yet the time is coming for their bodies to rot and building expensive epitaphs for the dead and buying expensive coffins for them yet there are human who still suffer. The windows symbolize the world of the living as suns and the world of the deceased as shadows...
