Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMDNOPQ

We must be slow and delicate returnA
the policeman's stare with some esteemB
remember this is not a shadow playC
of doves and geese but this is nowD
the time to write it down record the wordsE
I mean we should have left some prideF
of youth and not forget the destiny of menG
who say goodbye to the wives and homesH
they've read about at breakfast in a restaurantI
'My love ' without regret or bitternessJ
obtain the measure of the stride we makeK
the latest song has chosen a theme of loveL
delivering us from all evil destroyM
why no this too is fanciful funny howD
hard it is to be slow and delicate in thisN
this thing of framing words to mark this graveO
I mean nothing short of blood in every streetP
on earth can fitly voice the loss of theseQ
