| drizzle on hunted bog the large footprint | C |
| marked endless journey of lion heart soldier | D |
| dragged and limped with a shriek he fall | E |
| with a sickening thud on stump groaned the | F |
| camouflage face dull and blackened bleak | G |
| respire in the thick dingy odour hairy | H |
| nostrils stinky with blood his death look | I |
| frenzy doomed the reclined Brocken spine | J |
| even the jackboat one legged and haversack | I |
| too heavy the pus gurgled out of the eyes he | H |
| winced and smile in his death This is the top | K |
| of the mainly soldier whose bones rest on this | L |
| stump still and the footprint still visible with | M |
| blisters of wind of glory | H |
