Thinking the home holds the final restA
The unthinkable thief would not come with a noticeB
We will not be able to defeat the unexpected guestA
To fight an unseen enemyC
Light and souls in solidarityC

In the world of creaturesD
Different in beliefE
Different in languageF
Different in cultureG
Different right from the protoH
Different in songs and danceI

Let love live longJ
Raise our voices and clamourG
Let raise a world of no discriminationK
Without an iota of recriminationK
That will allow prosperG
Sisters without being blood sistersD

Oh compatriots of now and foreverG
A nation of I and you becoming oursD
Hands to raise unity and peaceL
A nation of a man with marks like a cane on his faceM
A nation of a man with a long chewing stickN
A nation of a man who values colanutsM

To serve the land of our fathersM
A shared love between usM
Like the love between a palm wine addict and a drummerG
The strength to grow friends and not foeO
And build a lasting abode for generations to comeP

And of what good is a mouth without the lips and the teethQ
