Nocturne Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEDE FGF HIJK

Night comes an angel standsA
Measuring out the time of starsB
Still are the winds and still the hoursC
-
It would be peace to lieD
Still in the still hours at the angel's feetE
Upon a star hung in a starry skyD
But hearts another measure beatE
-
Each body wingless as it liesF
Sends out its butterfly of nightG
With delicate wings and jewelled eyesF
-
And some upon day's shores are castH
And some in darkness lostI
In waves beyond the world where floatJ
Somewhere the islands of the blestK
