In The Beck Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DDE FGHH

There is a fish that quivers in the poolA
itself a shadow but its shadow clearB
Catch it again and again it still is thereC
-
Against the flowing stream its life keeps paceD
with death the impulse and the flash of graceD
hiding in its stillness moves to be motionlessE
-
No net will hold it always it will returnF
Where the ripples settle and the sandG
It lives unmoved equated with the streamH
As flowers are fit for air man for his dreamH
