Long we gathering are with pain | B |
What one moment calls again | C |
Seven years childless marriage past | D |
A Son a son is born at last | D |
So exactly lim'd and fair | E |
Full of good Spirits Meen and Air | E |
As a long life promised | A |
Yet in less than six weeks dead | F |
Too promising too great a mind | G |
In so small room to be confin'd | G |
Therefore as fit in Heav'n to dwell | H |
He quickly broke the Prison shell | H |
So the subtle Alchimist | G |
Can't with Hermes Seal resist | G |
The powerful spirit's subtler flight | G |
But t'will bid him long good night | G |
And so the Sun if it arise | I |
Half so glorious as his Eyes | I |
