Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKLK MNJN OPQP RSTS

My Polly is so very goodA
Belinda never criesB
My Baby often goes to sleepC
See how she shuts her eyesB
-
Dear Mrs Lemon tell me whenD
Belinda goes to schoolE
And what time does she go to bedF
Well eight o'clock's the ruleE
-
But now and then just for a treatG
I let her wait awhileH
You shake your head why wouldn't youI
Do look at Baby's smileH
-
Dear Mrs Primrose will you comeJ
One day next week to teaK
Of course bring Rosalinda andL
That darling RosalieK
-
Dear Mrs Cowslip you are kindM
My little folks I knowN
Will be so very pleased to comeJ
Dears tell Mrs Cowslip soN
-
Oh do you know perhaps you've not heardO
She had a dreadful frightP
My Daisy with the measlesQ
Kept me up every nightP
-
And then I've been so worriedR
Clarissa had a fitS
And the doctor said he couldn'tT
In the least account for itS
