Running seams of toil and bread,
A hem that flows like the roaring meg,
Embroidered with a royal Swan thread,
A brocade design the ninth legion stitch.
"Come and see" " Lincolns Great "
A wool trade passers-by, and strengthens,
The crown, like the sepals of a rose,
The cathedral stands on high, too God we celebrate.
