Punishment In Kindergarten Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEF GCHIJKB CLMCNOPPG

Today the world is a little more my ownA
No need to remember the painB
A blue frocked woman caused throwingC
Words at me like pots and pans to drainB
That honey coloured day of peaceD
'Why don't you join the others whatE
A peculiar child you are 'F
-
On the lawn in clusters sat myG
schoolmates sippingC
Sugarcane they turned and laughedH
Children are funny things they laughI
In mirth at others' tears I buriedJ
My face in the sun warmed hedgeK
And smelt the flowers and the painB
-
The words are muffled now the laughingC
Faces only a blur The years haveL
Sped along stopping brieflyM
At beloved halts and movingC
Sadly on My mind has foundN
An adult peace No need to rememberO
That picnic day when I lay hiddenP
By a hedge watching the steel white sunP
Standing lonely in the skyG
