My Grandmother's House Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJFFKLMN

There is a house now far away where onceA
I received love That woman diedB
The house withdrew into silence snakes movedC
Among books I was then too youngD
To read and my blood turned cold like the moonE
How often I think of goingF
There to peer through blind eyes of windows orG
Just listen to the frozen airH
Or in wild despair pick an armful ofI
Darkness to bring it here to lieJ
Behind my bedroom door like a broodingF
Dog you cannot believe darlingF
Can you that I lived in such a house andK
Was proud and loved I who have lostL
My way and beg now at strangers' doors toM
Receive love at least in small changeN
