Autumn Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH IJKJLMLM

HE autumn comes a maiden fairA
In slenderness and graceB
With nodding rice stems in her hairA
And lilies in her faceB
In flowers of grasses she is cladC
And as she moves alongD
Birds greet her with their cooing gladC
Like bracelets' tinkling songD
-
A diadem adorns the nightE
Of multitudinous starsF
Her silken robe is white moonlightE
Set free from cloudy barsF
And on her face the radiant moonG
Bewitching smiles are shownH
She seems a slender maid who soonG
Will be a woman grownH
-
Over the rice fields laden plantsI
Are shivering to the breezeJ
While in his brisk caresses danceK
The blossomed burdened treesJ
He ruffles every lily pondL
Where blossoms kiss and partM
And stirs with lover's fancies fondL
The young man's eager heartM
