It has been so long,
The rain has washed away my footprints.
It has been forever,
The wind has blown away my scent.
It was never my intention,
To abandon and leave.
It was my inner tension,
I felt I needed to live.
I thought I was stronger,
I thought I was wiser,
Now I cannot find my way,
But I cannot say.
Signs have came,
Times have changed.
Not sure if they would remember me,
But if I could,
I would be home by gloam.
