Are sealed within that horoscope | D |

Beyond is toil for daily bread | E |
And thought to noble issues led | E |
And courage arming for the morn | F |
For whose behest this man was born | F |

A man of homely rustic ways | G |
Yet he achieves the forum's praise | G |
And soon earth's highest meed has won | H |
The seat and sway of Washington | H |

No throne of honors and delights | I |
Distrustful days and sleepless nights | I |
To struggle suffer and aspire | J |
Like Israel led by cloud and fire | K |

A treacherous shot a sob of rest | L |
A martyr's palm upon his breast | L |
A welcome from the glorious seat | M |
Where blameless souls of heroes meet | M |

And thrilling through unmeasured days | G |
A song of gratitude and praise | G |
A cry that all the earth shall heed | N |
To God who gave him for our need | N |
