Some Editors of the papers | F |
They thought it would be wise | F |

So they filled it up with lies | F |

The papers have ridiculed me | D |
A year and a half or more | J |
Such slander as the interview | C |
I never read before | J |
Some reporters and editors | F |
Are versed in telling lies | F |
Others it seems are willing | K |
To let industry rise | F |

Will read the papers through | C |
And not rely on its truth | M |
Without a candid view | C |
My first attempt at literature | N |
Is the Sweet Singer by name | O |
I wrote that book without a thought | P |
Of the future or of fame | O |
