My Little Boy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE FGHG IJIJ

MY little boy thy laughterA
Goes to my bosom coreB
And sends me yearning afterA
The days that are no moreB
-
Adown my cheek is stealingC
A briny tear and ID
But let no selfish feelingC
Thy infant mirth destroyE
-
Fill not with looks so earnestF
Those pretty eyes of thineG
A lot were thine the sternestH
Couldst thou my thought divineG
-
There's time enough for sorrowI
When Life's pale eve draws nearJ
The lark lilts thee Good MorrowI
Ring out thy laughter clearJ
