The Mulatto To His Critics Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGAHI

Ashamed of my raceA
And of what race an IB
I am many in oneC
Thru my veins runs the bloodD
Of Red Man Black Man Briton Celt and ScotE
In warring clash and tumultuous riotF
I welcome allG
But love the blood of the kindly raceA
That swarthes my skin crinkles my hairH
And puts sweet music into my soulI
