A Polar Explorer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEEF

All the huskies are eaten There is no spaceA
left in the diary And the beads of quickB
words scatter over his spouse's sepia shaded faceA
adding the date in question like a mole to her lovely cheekC
Next the snapshot of his sister He doesn't spare his kinD
what's been reached is the highest possible latitudeE
And like the silk stocking of a burlesque half nudeE
queen it climbs up his thigh gangreneF
