The Working Ants Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHI JKLMNOHPCQHR

My mind is challenged by the chatter of the antsA
they scurry around in search of their masterB
perturbing me and driving me madC
They use their special communication formsD
that which I have unfortunately come to understandE
These ants have been with me through the yearsF
some new some old some acquaintance some friendsG
They have shaped my psyche corrupted my thoughts changing meH
from the innocent ant I was into the soldier I am nowI
-
Four long days many breaks throughoutJ
We toiled and worked all these daysK
some more productive than othersL
We were rewarded by our masters for our toilingM
according to what harvest we reaped inN
I brought in lots of fruit my efforts awarded following day one and twoO
Day three was catastrophic the ants who shaped meH
were queer and the end of the dayP
another ant took my light as he had brought fruit than I hadC
Now in this fourth day I am determined to bring a new type of fruitQ
the kind that is sweet and savoryH
