Hymn V: Thy Faithfulness, Lord Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CDEE FFGG DDHI JJKK

Thy faithfulness Lord Each moment we findA
So true to thy word So loving and kindA
Thy mercy so tender To all the lost raceB
The vilest offender May turn and find graceB
-
The mercy I feel To others I showC
I set to my seal That Jesus is trueD
Ye all may find favour Who come at his callE
O come to my Saviour His grace is for allE
-
To save what was lost from heaven he cameF
Come sinners and trust In Jesus's nameF
He offers you pardon He bids you be freeG
If sin be your burden O come unto meG
-
O let me commend My Saviour to youD
The publican's friend And Advocate tooD
For you he is pleading His merits and deathH
With God interceding for sinners beneathI
-
Then let us submit His grace to receiveJ
Fall down at his feet And gladly believeJ
We all are forgiven For Jesus's sakeK
Our title to heaven His merits we takeK
