The days are long and the heavens are high	C
But the people there are small	B
There is no work there it is always play	D

And the jays hopped chattering	G
Strange were the ways of the water birds	I
In the brown swamps night and morn	E
I knew the roads they had in the reeds	J

They had silver manes and we made them prance	K

We were knights of the olden time	L
