| So gentle was thy pilgrimage beneath | B |
| Time's unheard feet scarce make less noise | C |
| Or the soft journey which a planet goes | D |
| Life seem'd all calm as its last breath | E |
| A still tranquillity so hush'd thy breast | F |
| As if some Halcyon were its guest | F |
| And there had built her nest | F |
| It hardly now enjoys a greater rest | F |
