Ad Matrem Amantissimam Et Carissimam Filii In Æternum Fidelitas Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBAACAADA

With all the fairest angels nearest GodA
The ineffable true of heart around the throneB
There shall I find you waiting when the flownB
Dream leaves my heart insentient as the clodA
And when the grief retracing ways I trodA
Become a shining path to thee aloneB
My weary feet that seemed to drag as stoneB
Shall once again with wings of fleetness shodA
Fare on beloved to find you Just beyondA
The seraph throng await me standing nearC
The gentler angels eager and apartA
Be there near God's own fairest with the fondA
Sweet smile that was your own and let me hearD
Your voice again and clasp you to my heartA
