To The Same Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACBCBCB

Cyriack this three years day these eyes though clearA
To outward view of blemish or of spotB
Bereft of light their seeing have forgotB
Nor to their idle orbs doth sight appearA
Of sun or moon or star throughout the yearA
Or man or woman Yet I argue notB
Against Heaven s hand or will nor bate a jotB
Of heart or hope but still bear up and steerA
Right onward What supports me dost thou askC
The conscience friend to have lost them overpliedB
In liberty s defence my noble taskC
Of which all Europe rings from side to sideB
This thought might lead me through the world s vain maskC
Content though blind had I no better guideB
