The Fable Of The Peasant And His Landlord. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFF

A Peasant to his lord yearly courtA
Presenting pippins of so rich a sortA
That he displeased to have a part aloneB
Removed the tree that all might be his ownB
The tree too old to travel though beforeC
So fruitful withered and would yield no moreC
The squire perceiving all his labour voidD
Cursed his own pains so foolishly employedD
And Oh he cried that I had lived contentE
With tribute small indeed but kindly meantE
My avarice has expensive proved to meF
Has cost me both my pippins and my treeF
