Sonnet 17 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDBBCDBEFEGGF

XVIIA
-
Lawrence of vertuous Father vertuous SonB
Now that the Fields are dank and ways are mireC
Where shall we sometimes meet and by the fireD
Help wast a sullen day what may be WonB
From the hard Season gaining time will runB
On smoother till Favonius re inspireC
The frozen earth and cloth in fresh attireD
The Lillie and Rose that neither sow'd nor spunB
What neat repast shall feast us light and choiceE
Of Attick tast with Wine whence we may riseF
To hear the Lute well toucht or artfull voiceE
Warble immortal Notes and Tuskan AyreG
He who of those delights can judge and spareG
To interpose them oft is not unwiseF
