Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBCCBDEDADA

IA
-
O Nightingale that on yon bloomy SprayB
Warbl'st at eeve when all the Woods are stillC
Thou with fresh hope the Lovers heart dost fillC
While the jolly hours lead on propitious MayB
Thy liquid notes that close the eye of DayB
First heard before the shallow Cuccoo's billC
Portend success in love O if Jove's willC
Have linkt that amorous power to thy soft layB
Now timely sing ere the rude Bird of HateD
Foretell my hopeles doom in som Grove nyE
As thou from yeer to yeer hast sung too lateD
For my relief yet hadst no reason whyA
Whether the Muse or Love call thee his mateD
Both them I serve and of their train am IA
